Gentle short walks along parts of the Serpent Trail through Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex, stopping regularly for simple powerful qigong (taiji qigong, zhan zhuang and other chinese exercises) in wonderful natural surroundings. The Serpent Trail and the Lipchis Trail run through some of the loveliest unspoilt heathland and woodland in southern England. We offer a quirky sightseeing experience for runners of all abilities. Explore London and further afield in a truly unique and healthy way by jogging under the guidance of one of our experienced Sight-Jogging Guides. While our groups are suitable for all abilities, the emphasis is very much on having fun - budding Mo Farah's may prefer faster paced groups - but all are welcome! Tough Mudder is ‘probably the toughest event on the planet’ or so the organisers say: http://toughmudder.co.uk/about/ In any case it looks like a lot of fun and the clue is supposed to be in the TEAM EFFORT. I know it sounds a bit like a corporate mumbo jumbo but be it running, jumping over the fences or plodding, or prancing as the case may be, through the mud and fire, not to mention THE BEER part, requires a team of soulmates … or just likeminded acquaintances. I have wanted to do some seriou …

I would also like this to be an all day occasion at the pavilion with stalls and bands. I am also incorporating a 4 person relay race of 15 miles around the route. I am looking for like minded dudes to get this going and run the event. I am looking for like minded dudes who would like to help set this up and run in th …
I couldn't help but notice that quite of few of us have listed Adventure Racing as an activity we either do today or would like to learn more about. For those that don't know, Adventure Racing it's one of the fastest growing team sports, with each race usually combining trail running, mountain biking and canoeing. Sprint events can last between 3-6 hours and the longer events at the extreme end of the scale can go on for up to 10 days!!! (not for me). The goal is to get together with a mixed cro …

Warwick Hash is one of the newer chapters of the world-wide Hash House Harrier movement, dedicated to social running, walking etc., with the accent on "social". We meet every Monday evening at 7 pm in a pub in or around the lovely city of Warwick, and follow a marked trail (laid with a certain amount of cunning to make it interesting) for (normally) just under an hour, before repairing back to the pub to refresh ourselves. Check out http://www.warwickhash.org.uk/ or our Facebook page at http://w …
