This is a group for anyone interested in hiking, camping, mountain biking, disc golf, kayaking, etc. If it is an outdoor activity lets do it. All skills levels are welcome. I started this group because there were none in safford and the only ones were in tucson and it can be tough to participate always having a commute. I figured there are other outdoor enthusiasts in Safford.
FYI, This is not a hiking group for beginners. This is not a group where you come to learn how to hike. This is a group for responsible adults and experienced hikers. This is a group that does not have to hang around for every person to finish up a particular hike. If you need help, please ask and you will receive. I am a Group Organizer, not a commercialized paid Group Leader. I will organize and inform to my best abilities. This is for camaraderie and the sharing of some incredible hike …
Hash House Harriers (abbreviated to HHH, H3, or referred to simply as Hashing) is an international group of non-competitive running, social and drinking clubs. An event organized by a club is known as a Hash or Hash Run, with participants calling themselves Hashers or Hares and Hounds. At a Hash, one or more members (Hares) lay a trail, which is then followed by the remainder of the group (the Pack or Hounds). The trail periodically ends at a "check" and the pack must find where it begins again; …
