There are quite a few 'peak lists' in California and we like to climb them. Some are easy and good trails lead to the top. Others are long, difficult cross-country routes and may require some roped sections. Please evaluate the proposed hike/climb to be within your capabilities. As many/most of these hikes will be new to all attending, everyone should have studied the route, copied topo maps, have your GPS loaded with waypoints, and be prepared to 'help' with route finding on the difficult one …
