We volunteer to help maintain the hiking, running, equestrian trails at the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield Park. Typical work goes from light tasks such as pruning, planting, raking; to harder task like trail building and rock stairs or rock wall building. Leadership, training and tools are provided. Paul started a good thing and I hope to continue it. I have two Italitan Greyhounds who always enjoyed our morning hikes at Kennesaw Mountain with Paul and Lucy and those who signed up. So, we will, for now, continue weekend-morning hikes and hope you too will find them enjoyable. We will do the 5.5 miles that takes roughly 2 to 2.5 hours depending on our pace.
