We are the oldest continuously running hash in the United States. We meet Saturdays at 3:00pm, socialize a bit, and then go running/walking along a trail set by a member (the hare). Our trails wind through the wilds of the beautiful Hampton Roads Peninsula (Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, York County), involve at least 1 beer check (for those 21 and older), and end with a festive, baudy and welcoming gathering (the circle). It's a fun way to get in a bit of exercise with your socializing. …

I hope you join and share when you plan to run or join others at their planned times. Each meet is different however, we generally meet and great and then people typically split into groups to set their own pace or pair off with someone run …

Established October 24th, 1992, we are the Richmond kennel of the internationally known Hash House Harriers or the "Drinking club with a running problem." There are thousands of Hash House Harrier groups in the world today. We are runners, but without a great emphasis on speed. Each week runners (and plenty of walkers) follow a trail of flour or chalk somewhere in the Richmond area in search of beer, songs, generally poor behavior and beer. If you are interested in meeting new people, seeing par …

Run with fellow runners in your area at local meetups. Participate in various long and short distance running. Our group loves the trails. Share ideas for safety and gear knowledge. Find running partners/friends that share similar goals. This group has members that run at all different levels and I encourage you to join with that knowledge. Our group is about the many benefits that come from running with company as opposed to running alone. If you're a faster runner you may be one of many t …

We live in an area built on a great deal of history. The goal of this group is to find those areas, explore them, and experience them. There are many areas in the Seven Cities where we can Meetup and hike/walk and immerse ourselves in the past and revisit that from which we have come. The goal is to Meetup, learn the history of the area, and enjoy the company of others seeking the same. Because many of these places are often overlooked, we will focus on them and hunt out the hidden gems and h …

There are plenty of meetups for running, but what about those of us who just like to walk! I decided to start a group dedicated to meeting at a good location and walking together. Just that simple. We can power walk or walk briskly. This also might be good motivation for those who need encouragement and accountability. We will mostly be walking in the VA Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk areas. Walking will be done in the outdoors (parks, trails, the beach, boardwalk, etc.). So, wear warm clothes in …
